Welcome to the about us page for Florida Bass Adventures owner and Guide Steve Boyd. I am a USCG Licensed Full Time Orlando, Florida Trophy Bass Fishing Guide with over 30 years of experience fishing the lakes and rivers in the Orlando area. As a Florida native that grew up right here in Orlando, Florida I have benefited from a very early understanding of what Florida Bass Fishing is all about. Now as a successful Orlando Bass Fishing Guide I have the experience and knowledge to show you proven tactics and cutting edge techniques to help you put more fish in the boat and become a better bass angler. Florida doesn't have a big bass season thanks to our great weather so hunting trophy bass truly is a year round opportunity for Florida Bass Adventures clients.

I am very fortunate to be of Native American descent and very passionate about the outdoors as well as the conservation of our natural resources so that our future generations can enjoy the sport. As a Full Time Orlando Bass Guide I enjoy working with novice anglers young and old to help the sport grow acting as an ambassador of the sport of bass fishing.

Prior to becoming a Full Time Orlando Bass Fishing Guide I was a member of the U.S. Armed Forces serving with the United States Marine Corps during the first Gulf War. In 1992 I was honorably discharged and went on to work with the Pepsi Bottling Group and Frito Lay here in Orlando Florida enjoying success with those companies for the next 10 years. There is no doubt that the experience gained from the Military plays a strong role in the integrity, honor and pride I apply to my role as a Professional Bass Fishing Guide.

I have enjoyed success as a tournament angler competing at all levels with a recent 21st place finish in the Bassmaster Southern division tournament held in Orlando Florida on Lake Toho and a 3rd place finish with the FLW BFL Series in 2010. It's is this success and ability to consistently put clients on trophy bass that keeps me on the water here in Orlando 280 days a year with clientele that comes from all over the world.
